Here in Little Bay we gather on Country on which members and Elders of the Gadigal and Bidjigal Peoples and their forebears have been custodians for many centuries and on which Aboriginal people have performed age-old ceremonies of celebration, initiation and renewal. We acknowledge their living culture and their unique role in the life of the region.
I started this blog in 2017 when I needed to find a release. A way to process my experiences. A place to go to mend a broken heart. Now this is a place dedicated to my learnings and offerings, where I can keep you up to date with my yoga teaching, my seasonal circle work, and my mind meanderings.
I have grown up with a strong sense of community. I think a strong, local community reflects the people living in it.
Having an integrated, caring network is something I strive to develop for myself, my family and friends, and my neighbours.
I completed the 200hr Yoga Teacher Training program at Botannix Yoga under the guidance of Dr Jeff Miller in 2015. I have since completed advanced trainings with teachers who inspire me including Jasmine Tarkeshi, Idit Tamir and Katie Manitsas.
In 2020 I completed a Sacred Circle Facilitator Training with Kate Schubert and will be undertaking the INNATE Postpartum Care Certification Training during 2021.
I see yoga in all aspects in life and my intention is to continue to develop as a teacher to offer this sense of being to others.
I hope my classes can bring an overall sense of uplifting and that they are accessible to all, no matter what you may be going through in your own life.
